Pluto crawls through a sign for a dozen years or more, so what it marks is less a person than a whole cohort — everyone born inside a window shares this signature, and it reads clearest as the pressure a generation puts on the world rather than a quirk of any single chart. The Aries stretch, roughly the mid-nineteenth century, belonged to people who tore down and rebuilt through sheer force of will: pioneers, revolutionaries, and inventors who treated the frontier — geographic and industrial — as something to be seized rather than waited for.

Power as the will to strike first

The transformation this generation drove was one of initiative. Power, to them, was the willingness to strike first and alone. Almost no one carries it today, but the pattern it describes — power expressed as decisive first action — recurs wherever Aries and Pluto collide in an individual chart, by sign and house. There the generational theme becomes personal: where does this person feel driven to force a fresh start, to burn something down rather than reform it, to prove that they can survive going first?
