Is StarBind free?
The app has a free plan: your chart, Big Three, and daily transits are free. Limited app readings are included, with more through optional subscriptions. PDF reports are a separate, one-time purchase.
How accurate are the calculations?
StarBind computes your chart from the same planetary data NASA uses. Positions are accurate to fractions of an arcsecond, the gold standard for professional astrology and astronomy software.
Do I need to know my exact birth time?
For your Rising sign and houses, yes. Without it, StarBind computes your chart for noon and marks it as time-uncertain. The Rising sign and houses are left out, not guessed. If the Sun or Moon changed sign that day, that sign is uncertain too.
Where can I get the app?
Available on Android 10+. iOS is coming soon. Personal PDF reports are available separately on the website.
How is StarBind different from other astrology apps?
StarBind shows you the real chart data: exact degrees, aspects, dignities and house systems. Its readings are built on that data, so you can check them against your own chart. No vague one-liners.
What house system does StarBind use?
Placidus by default, with Whole Sign, Koch, and Porphyry one tap away. Western readings use the tropical zodiac. Sidereal modes are available too.
Can I check compatibility with friends and partners?
Yes. Save the people you care about and StarBind compares your charts. This is called synastry: the aspects between your planets and theirs.
Is my birth data private?
