Virgo perfects the system that exists; Aquarius wants to scrap it and build a stranger, better one. Pair them up and you get two intelligent people who both live in their heads and still keep missing each other, because the heads are wired to entirely different specifications. Aquarius is Fixed and, for all its talk of open-mindedness, holds its convictions like bedrock; Virgo, Mutable, would ordinarily flex, but here it's flexing around a partner who simply won't move on principle. So Virgo ends up doing most of the accommodating while Aquarius stays serenely convinced it's the reasonable one, a quiet imbalance that can sour if it's never named aloud.
