Scorpio and Sagittarius sit side by side on the wheel, and the 30-degree semisextile between them has that next-door quality — close enough to notice each other constantly, different enough that the wiring never quite matches. Scorpio is Water: deep, private, intense, playing its cards close. Sagittarius is Fire: open, blunt, restless, saying whatever it thinks the moment it thinks it. They intrigue each other across a real divide.

Where the wiring differs

The modes sharpen the contrast. Scorpio is Fixed and wants depth, loyalty, and control of its inner world; Sagittarius is Mutable and wants freedom, movement, and the open road.
