Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: 2026-05-16
STORMVIBE Ltd. (EOOD), EIK 208809995, operator of the StarBind service, is committed to making our website at starbind.me — including the StarBind Reports storefront at starbind.me/reports — and our mobile applications for iOS and Android usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement is published under the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) and the Bulgarian Act on Accessibility of Goods and Services (Закон за достъпността на стоките и услугите).
1. Conformance status
StarBind aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, which is the reference standard for the European Accessibility Act.
The StarBind website and mobile applications are currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.
The service has not yet been independently audited; the assessment above is based on internal review.
2. Accessibility features in place
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate landmarks and headings on web pages.
- High contrast between text and background, designed against the WCAG AA contrast minimum (4.5:1 for body text).
- Keyboard navigation supported across the mobile applications and the website.
- Respect for the operating system's Reduce Motion preference — non-essential animations are disabled when the user has opted out.
- Text is resizable using the browser's or operating system's zoom controls without loss of content or functionality.
- Form fields have visible labels and accessible names.
- Astrological glyphs are accompanied by accessible text alternatives so screen-reader users hear "Mercury in Gemini" rather than the raw glyph.
3. Known limitations
We are honest about the gaps. The following are areas we know need work and are addressing post-launch:
- Interactive natal chart wheel. The chart wheel is a complex SVG visualisation. We provide an accessible table view of the same data, but the wheel itself does not yet expose each planet and aspect to assistive technology as discrete focusable items.
- Some AI-generated reading text may use poetic or astrological language that screen readers pronounce awkwardly. The text is plain content with no styling tricks, but the vocabulary itself can be uncommon.
- Independent audit. An external accessibility audit is planned but has not yet been completed.
4. Feedback and contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of StarBind. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or want to suggest improvements, please contact us:
- Email: [email protected]
- Postal address: STORMVIBE Ltd., 27E Srebarna Street, Bldg. 7, Entr. A, Apt. A2, Lozenets District, Sofia 1407, Bulgaria
We aim to acknowledge feedback within 5 working days and to provide a substantive response within 30 days.
5. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility complaint, you may escalate the matter to the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (Комисия за защита на потребителите — КЗП), which supervises compliance with the Bulgarian Act on Accessibility of Goods and Services: https://www.kzp.bg.
6. Technical specifications
Accessibility of StarBind relies on the following technologies working with the assistive technologies you use:
- HTML
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Native iOS (UIKit) and Android (Jetpack Compose / View) accessibility APIs through Capacitor.
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
7. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 2026-05-16 by STORMVIBE Ltd. based on an internal self-assessment of the service against WCAG 2.1 level AA. It will be reviewed and updated at least once per year, and whenever a substantial change is made to the service.
